Easy ways to avoid wrinkles and premature aging

No one wants to age quicker than they have too. There is a change that some of your behaviors or habits can increase the risk of premature skin aging. you may be writing a few of those lines yourself. Fortunately, there are many ways to make skin aging less visible.

1. Never leave the house without sunscreen
Ever since we were young, our parents have always told us to put on sunscreen. Sunscreen is the best product to avoid wrinkles and early aging. Using sunscreen can also prevent skin cancer. If you forget to put on sunscreen then try using a foundation that has at least SPF 15 in it. Also, many people forget to use sunscreen on their ears and neck and thats very important as well.

2. Antioxidants are your friend
Furthermore, those harmful UV rays that are absorbed in your skin can create free radicals and cause wrinkles. Luckily, antioxidants can help defend your body against free radicals. Try eating and drinking foods such as (pomegranates, acai, blueberries, and green tea). Next time you are buying any creams or moisturizers look for creams that contain any of these ingredients.

3. Do not smoke cigarettes
Firstly, cigarettes are a major health problem and can increase the chance of getting lung cancer. They can also speed up the normal aging process of your skin and cause wrinkles. The reason behind the this is that the nicotine in cigarettes causes narrowing of the blood vessels in the outermost layers of your skin which impairs blood flow to the skin. When there is less blood flow your skin lacks oxygen and important nutrients such as Vitamin A. The chemicals in cigarettes can also damage the collagen and elastin in the skin. Consequently, the skin begins to wrinkle early on. Try finding another way to de-stress such as exercising, meditating, or picking up a new hobby.

4.Avoid eating sugar
Everyone loves sugar, however, digesting too much sugar can break down collagen and produce fine lines and wrinkles. If your body still craves a little bit of sugar try eating fruit which contains natural sugar that is actually good for you. Avoiding sugar is both good for your skin and you will look better overall.

5. Get a goodnights sleep
It is important to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep each night because not getting enough sleep can mess with the bodys production of cortisol which is a stress hormone that breaks down skin cells. In addition, the way you sleep may actually cause wrinkles. Over time your pillow puts pressure on your face every night. This can add lines to chin, cheeks and forehead. Try sleeping on your back instead to avoid this.

6. Drink plenty of water

Even if you are not thirsty you should always drink water throughout the day. It is the best way to keep your skin hydrated so that it looks fresh and radiant. Add foods high in water, such as fruits and vegetables to your diet. You should drink extra water as well if you are drinking any caffeine substances because it can make you extra dehydrated.
